Hemang Patel is a seasoned database management professional with extensive experience across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior DBA at Cox Communications since March 2017, Patel specializes in systems analysis, configuration, security, maintenance, and performance tuning of Oracle and Mongo databases on both Linux and cloud platforms. Prior to this role, Patel worked at AT&T from April 2008 to March 2017, where responsibilities included managing critical databases for home security and automation, as well as the implementation of robust database solutions for high-stakes applications. Earlier experience includes significant contributions at HP managing critical bank databases, and at GlaxoSmithKline overseeing various database administration tasks for numerous applications. Patel holds an MBA in Finance Management, an MSc in Computer Information Systems, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering.
