Shuang Liang has extensive experience in the chemical engineering field, currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing for TDI Intermediates at Covestro since January 2015, overseeing the safe and reliable operation of key polyurethane units. Previously held positions at Covestro include Senior Manufacturing Manager and Principal Engineer, focusing on reliability improvement, technical asset management, and support for production and maintenance activities. Prior to joining Covestro, Shuang Liang worked at Bayer Technology Services as a Reliability Engineer and Research Scientist, specializing in catalyst development and process simulation. Shuang Liang holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as both an M.S. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
