Carlos Galan is a seasoned machinery safety expert currently working at Covestro since August 2019, with a robust background in mechanical engineering. Prior experience includes serving as a Reliability Machinery Engineer at LyondellBasell from June 2013 to July 2019 and as a Gas Turbine Repair Engineer at GE Power & Water from March 2010 to June 2013, where Carlos provided significant technical support and led quality improvement initiatives in rotor and bucket repairs. Additionally, Carlos held the position of Responsible Engineer for Rotating Equipment at Bechtel, managing technical compliance and liaising with various stakeholders, as well as working as a Project Manager and Design Engineer at Flowserve, where responsibilities included design solutions and project management for centrifugal pumps. Carlos obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005.
