Christopher Atkinson has extensive work experience in financial roles. Christopher began their career at KPMG as a Manager in Assurance Services and worked there from 1991 to 1996. From 1997 to 2002, they worked at PhyCor, Inc. as a Manager in Financial Reporting. In 2002, they joined Concentra, Inc. as the Vice President of Finance, a position they held until 2007. Christopher then moved to Coventry Workers' Comp Services as the Vice President from 2002 to 2009. Christopher then served as the Chief Financial Officer of Customer Service Operations at Coventry Health Care from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2020, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Coventry Workers' Comp Services and TPA & Payer Solutions, where they were responsible for managing divisions with a total value of over $1.2 billion. Additionally, starting from August 2020, Christopher became the Chief Financial Officer of Coventry HealthCare Workers' Compensation, Inc.
Christopher Atkinson attended Lipscomb University from 1986 to 1990, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Subsequently, from 1990 to 1991, they pursued further education at The University of Alabama, earning a Master's degree in Tax Accounting.
