Elizabeth Nelson currently serves as Real Estate Counsel at Cousino Law since April 2017 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law since August 2013. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Attorney General at the Illinois Attorney General's Office from January 2011 to December 2012, and as a Legal Extern at Futterman Howard Ashley Watkins & Weltman P.C. in early 2010. Additional roles include Summer Associate at K&L Gates in 2009 and Law Clerk at the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian in 2008. Elizabeth Nelson began their professional journey as a Third Grade Teacher at Chicago International Charter School from 2005 to 2007. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2010), a MAT from Dominican University (2007), and a B.A. in Political Science, Spanish, and Criminal Justice from the University of Michigan (2005).
