Ivan Cheung is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both the financial and educational technology sectors. Currently, Ivan serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Coursera, having previously held senior roles at Charles River Development, where responsibilities included maintaining and enhancing APIs in Java and contributing to front-end automation workflows. Prior experience at Citi involved migrating pricing systems and developing secure user interfaces, while earlier work at Microsemi Corporation focused on test development and automation. Ivan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
