Andrew Martinez has extensive experience in community and educational settings, currently serving as a Group Supervisor for the County of Santa Cruz since February 2007, where responsibilities include implementing programs and facilitating communication among community partners, courts, and parents. Previously, Andrew worked as a Teacher's Aide at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education from January 2014 to June 2024, providing positive learning experiences for students in small groups. Andrew's early career includes a role as a Youth Counselor at Pacific Coast Youth Homes from January 2002 to January 2007, focusing on supportive education. Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California State University, Monterey Bay (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's in Collaborative Health, encompassing public health, social work, and sociology from the same institution (2007-2011).
