Rob Coelho is a seasoned legal professional serving as Assistant County Counsel for the County of Santa Clara since August 2008. Responsibilities include advising the County Board of Supervisors and various departments on legal matters, specifically in Labor and Employment Law, overseeing the Labor Law Team as well as the Equal Opportunity and Investigations Teams. Prior to this role, Rob held several positions within the County Counsel's Office, including Lead of the Litigation Team and oversight of various legal teams related to Public Safety, Education Law, and Child and Family Protection. Rob's earlier experience includes practicing as an Attorney at Hoge Fenton Jones & Appel from 1998 to 2008, focusing on employment law and litigation, and representing executives at the Law Offices of JM Bewley from 1993 to 1998. Rob Coelho holds a law degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
