Jose Sierra is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in project management and system reliability. Currently serving as IS Project Manager II at the County of San Mateo since December 2022, Jose previously led IT projects at Berkeley Lab for nearly a decade, utilizing Agile methodologies and overseeing a team of IT professionals. Jose has also held roles as a Site Reliability Engineer, where systems and software enhancements were developed to increase site performance, and as a Computer Systems Engineer I, managing IT infrastructure for a significant number of devices. Earlier in their career, Jose founded and operated Go Green Mobile Service, gaining valuable skills in marketing, finance, and customer service. Jose holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from San Francisco State University and completed a Project Management program at UC Berkeley Extension.
