Jose Arriaga is an accomplished professional in agricultural regulations and standards, currently serving as the Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures for the County of Orange since September 2021. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as President of The California Association of Standards & Agricultural Professionals from March 2020 to March 2022 and Assistant Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer of Weights & Measures for Contra Costa County from July 2019 to September 2021. Jose's expertise also includes positions in Solano County as Interim Agricultural Commissioner and in various capacities at the County of San Diego, where tenure spanned over a decade. Earlier in the career, Jose gained valuable experience as a Certified Premises Inspector at the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, completed in 2006.
