Cindy Rivers, CPSWQ, QSD, currently serves as the Senior Environmental Resources Specialist and South OC Stormwater Program Manager for the County of Orange since December 2017. In this role, Cindy co-manages the Orange County Stormwater Program, focusing on NPDES municipal MS4 compliance to prevent stormwater pollution in local waterways, and acts as the principal contact for the South Orange County Watershed Management Area. Prior experience includes roles as Environmental Scientist IV and Senior Environmental Scientist at CWE, where tasks involved compliance with various NPDES permits and stormwater monitoring, as well as positions at AECOM, Tetra Tech, Komex H2O Science Inc, and the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority, all contributing to a robust background in environmental science and management. Cindy holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Environmental Fluids) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of California, Riverside.
