Cary Knight, MBA, PMP, CLP, currently serves as the Director of Property Management for Manatee County Government, overseeing a comprehensive department that includes Property Acquisition, Construction Services, and Facilities Maintenance, among other areas. Previously, Cary was the Director of Project Management for Monroe County BOCC, managing a significant portfolio of projects valued between $100 million and $150 million. Cary has extensive experience in the construction industry, having held leadership positions at JJJD, Inc., Knights Inc. LLC, Bright Lights Decorating, and Patch's Pumpkins, Orchard, & Honey Farm, demonstrating a strong track record in revenue growth and project execution. Early career roles included project management and engineering positions at 360networks and Qwest Communications, where Cary managed multi-million dollar capital projects and contributed to significant organizational improvements. Cary holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from LSU Shreveport.
