Surya Shekhar Auddy is currently a Research Analyst at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), where involvement includes a unique research survey focused on challenges faced by LPG distributors amid India's transition to cleaner energy. Previously, Surya served as a Research Intern at CEEW and contributed to environmental and livelihood planning as a Summer Intern at ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth. Fieldwork experience includes a role at Vasundhara, Odisha. Surya's earlier career includes positions as an MEP Engineer and Graduate Engineering Trainee at Shapoorji Pallonji Group, as well as a trainee at Steel Authority of India Limited. Educational credentials include a PGDFM in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, supplemented by a Leadership Development Module at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
