Silvia Santoro is a legal expert currently serving as a Member of the Legal Service at the Council of the European Union since September 2022. Santoro has extensive experience in European institutions, having worked as a Policy and Legal Officer at the European Commission's DG FISMA from November 2012 to September 2022 and as a Policy Officer at DG MARKT. Prior to this, Santoro held associate positions at Kemmler Rapp Bohlke & Crosby and Crosby Houben & Aps between 2006 and 2012, and served as a Legal Secretary at the European Court of Justice from September 2004 to December 2005. Educational credentials include a Master in European Studies, Law from the College of Europe and a Law degree from Luiss Guido Carli University.
