Niamh McLoughlin is currently a trainee at the Council of the European Union in the Telecommunications and Information Society sector, having started in September 2024. Prior to this role, Niamh gained experience as a trainee business analyst with Deloitte and worked as a research executive and intern at Scale Ireland from February 2021 to September 2024. Leadership experience includes serving as co-president of CoEnnect Digital Society from September 2023 to June 2024, and involvement with Ireland-Experience as the Irish contact point and activities coordinator from September 2020 to June 2023. Additionally, Niamh held the position of community manager for UL Student Sustainability in early 2023. Academically, Niamh is pursuing a Master of Arts in European Political and Governance Studies at the College of Europe, following a bachelor's degree in European Studies from the University of Limerick and an Erasmus program in Political Science and Government at Universidad de Granada.
