Antony de Jacquier is an experienced information security professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Head of Cyber Defence and Incident Response at the Council of the European Union since February 2008, Antony has held multiple roles including Deputy Head Cyber Defence Operations and Information Security Professional. Prior experience includes positions as Lead Security Management Specialist at SWIFT and Senior Software Architect at Clearstream International, as well as earlier roles at SWIFT in project management and programming. Antony began a career in academia at Université Libre de Bruxelles as a researcher and teaching assistant. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, both obtained from Université Libre de Bruxelles between 1992 and 1996.
