Martijn Klop is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong background in chemistry. Currently serving as Head of the DMF Department at Synthon since May 2009, Martijn has contributed to the development and production of human generics and biopharmaceuticals. Martijn also holds positions as the Dutch Representative in Expert Group 10A of the European Pharmacopoeia since November 2017 and as an Industry Representative in the Work-group Monograph Evaluation at RIVM since the same date. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientist at Mercachem, specializing in organic synthesis for international pharmaceutical clients. Martijn obtained a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Radboud University, completing studies from 2000 to 2006, and possesses a VWO diploma earned between 1994 and 2000.
