Chin-Heng Hong is an experienced technology executive currently serving as VP of Product Management at Couchbase since January 2015, where efforts focus on transforming data management and user experiences within the rapidly evolving digital economy. Prior roles include VP positions at Hewlett-Packard in both HP Autonomy and Retail Publishing, as well as VP of Engineering at Blue Chip Expert and Thrasys, Inc. Hong has also held significant engineering leadership roles at Siebel Systems Inc, Asera Inc, and Oracle. With a foundational career beginning as a Senior Software Engineer at Objectivity Inc and Oracle Corp, Chin-Heng Hong has built extensive expertise in engineering and product management throughout a diverse career. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
