Dr. Jennifer Callison currently serves as the Director of the Cotting Transition Institute at Cotting School, a position held since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as the Special Education Coordinator at Danvers Public Schools from August 2022 to June 2024, Out of District Coordinator, and Transition Specialist at Winchester Public Schools from September 2014 to August 2022, and Transition Coordinator at Cambridge Public Schools from September 2007 to June 2014. Dr. Callison began a career in Special Education as a paraprofessional and transitioned to co-teaching World History before taking on administrative roles. Prior to specializing in education, Dr. Callison worked in various marketing and promotions roles in radio from 2000 to 2007. Dr. Callison holds a PhD in Urban Education, Leadership and Policy Studies from UMass Boston and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from the same institution, in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Norwich University.
