Tamra Azer has a diverse range of work experience in the healthcare industry. Tamra has held various roles at different companies, gaining expertise in clinical informatics and nursing. Tamra has served as the Director of Clinical & Financial Applications at Cottage Hospital since 2018. Prior to that, they were a Senior Clinical Informatics Nurse at Eastern Connecticut Health Network and a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Athena Health Care. Tamra also worked as a Clinical Informatics Nurse at Brookdale, where they successfully implemented electronic health record systems in assisted living facilities. Tamra has also worked as a Clinical Application Specialist at Community Health Systems, where they updated workflow processes and conducted EHR testing and validation. Earlier in their career, they held roles as a Clinical Informatics Nurse and Nurse Manager at Cottage Hospital, where they implemented meaningful use stage 2 attestation and implemented patient-centered care practices. Tamra's work experience has provided their with a strong foundation in clinical informatics, nursing management, and healthcare operations.

Tamra Azer attended Jacksonville University from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Nursing Science.
