Jon Harris is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering and product development, currently serving as Head of Governance at Costa Coffee since April 2021. Notable achievements include establishing the new product development process and leading the transformation of intellectual property management to enhance competitive advantage. Previously, Jon held significant roles at COSTA EXPRESS LIMITED and Exovent, contributing to engineering excellence and crisis management during the COVID-19 pandemic. With a strong foundation in systems engineering at BP and Shell, as well as leadership experience in HR and project management at Steer Energy, Jon has a proven track record of delivering complex engineering solutions and driving operational improvements. Jon holds a PhD in Composite Materials and an MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol.
