Peter DeWitt, Ed.D., is an experienced education leader serving as the CEO and Founder of the Instructional Leadership Collective since October 2023. With a robust background in educational leadership, Peter has authored the book "Dignity for All: Safeguarding LGBT Students" published by Corwin Press in 2012 and contributes to Education Week as a widely read blogger on various educational topics. Peter's previous roles include serving as a K-5 Principal at Averill Park Central School, where responsibilities encompassed curriculum leadership and direct supervision of staff and students, as well as serving as an adjunct professor at The College of Saint Rose. Peter's educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from The Sage Colleges and multiple degrees in education and psychology from respected institutions.
