Michael Moore is a Lecturer in Optometry at Technological University Dublin since September 2014, concurrently serving as a Researcher at the Centre for Eye Research Ireland and as a member of the Optical Registration Board and the Preliminary Proceeding Committee for CORU since January 2016. In addition, Michael has been a Professional Education Faculty member at Alcon UK & Ireland since September 2022, providing training in ocular health and contact lenses. Previous experience includes work as an Optometrist at Specsavers and Vision Express from 2008 to 2021. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Optometry, a PhD in Myopia Epidemiology and Big Data, a PgCert in Therapeutic Prescribing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Third Level Education, and a Master of Science in Refractive and Cataract Surgery, all from prestigious institutions.
