Hon Weng C. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Hon Weng is currently the Founder and CEO of Cortical Labs since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute starting from December 2017.

From 2014 to 2018, Hon Weng C. served as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of CliniCloud. In this role, they were responsible for the architecture, design, and development of the company's iOS, Android, web application, and cloud backend infrastructure. Hon Weng also managed the hiring of designers, software engineers, data scientists, and testers. Additionally, they played a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance for their medical devices platform.

Before their time at CliniCloud, they worked as a Doctor at Peninsula Health from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they founded StethoCloud and served in that role until 2013. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Systems Consultant at Michael O'Brien Catering from November 2011 to February 2012.

From 2011 to 2011, Hon Weng C. founded AppBryonic Labs, where they developed mobile healthcare and medical applications for various platforms. Hon Weng also worked as a Linux Developer at Melbourne Grammar School from 2003 to 2005, where they developed an alternative solution based on Linux and Free Open Source Software to replace proprietary software and the Windows Operating System.

In 2007, they worked as a Technical Support at MD Webhosting. Overall, Hon Weng C. has a strong background in technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.

Hon Weng C. completed their high school education at Melbourne Grammar School from 2001 to 2006, earning their VCE diploma. Hon Weng then pursued a concurrent MBBS/BMedSci degree in Medicine at the University of Melbourne from 2007 to 2012. In 2009, they undertook a Research Fellowship in Medical Informatics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, which lasted until 2010. In 2011, Hon Weng C. attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for a Clinical Elective, focusing on Developmental Pediatrics and Neonatology.
