Steffen Kindler is an experienced Implantable Hardware Engineer at CorTec GmbH since March 2018, specializing in the research and development of custom implantable systems and components, prototype manufacturing, and project management. Prior to this role, Steffen worked as a Research Assistant and Master Student at IMTEK, University of Freiburg, focusing on abiotic glucose fuel cells for energy-autonomous medical devices. Additional experience includes tutoring at Hochschule Furtwangen University and a Bachelor Student role at Gambro Dialysatoren GmbH, where Steffen contributed to the development of an automated testing machine for dialysis membranes. Steffen holds a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Engineering, both from Hochschule Furtwangen.
