Carla Vanzant serves as the Executive Director of Inspire Life, a nonprofit organization focused on empowering youth and families through educational and cultural experiences in the Central Jersey Shore. In addition, Carla Vanzant is a Career Success Coach at Correlation One, where support is provided for fellows through professional development initiatives. As an Adjunct Instructor of Sociology at Brookdale Community College, instruction centers on social justice and critical thinking, complemented by a history of leadership roles in the Educational Opportunity Fund program, enhancing access to higher education for underserved communities. Carla Vanzant also co-founded Vanzant Consulting, specializing in DEIB and nonprofit consulting. Previous experience includes an Engagement Specialist role at Next Generation Ministries and a Community Advocate position at Smart Start of Central Oklahoma, where significant improvements in participation rates were achieved. Carla Vanzant holds a Master of Arts in Applied Sociology with a focus on Nonprofit Leadership from Oklahoma City University.
