Michael Andersen is a seasoned consultant and database administrator with extensive experience in database management and web application architecture. Since December 2008, Michael has served as a Consultant - Database Administrator for the Correctional Service of Canada, focusing on SQL Server and MySQL. Additionally, Michael has been an Independent Consultant with the Canadian Federal Government, specializing in database administration and implementing replication strategies for critical applications. Previous roles include serving as CTO at GetMyData Inc., where Michael developed data architecture for web and mobile applications, and consulting positions with various Canadian government agencies, including the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Fisheries and Oceans Canada, where Michael optimized emergency response processes and developed financial systems. Throughout the career, Michael has harnessed a range of technologies, including PHP, ASP, and GIS, to deliver solutions for diverse challenges across sectors.
