Rashid Aliyev is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology expert with extensive experience in design, engineering development, and business advisory roles. As the Founder and CTO of Horizon Next since March 2018, Rashid leads multidisciplinary projects and technology transfer initiatives. Additionally, Rashid serves as a mentor for startups at New Space Innovation, an inventor of the BrailleTeach™ device, and a business advisor at CorpoWid. Previous positions include Executive Board Member and Advisor at PharmEd, IT Manager at the Dördüncü Sənaye İnqilabının Təhlili və Koordinasiya Mərkəzi, and IoT Projects Lead at the World Economic Forum for Azerbaijan. Rashid holds multiple degrees in economics, entrepreneurship, and commercial art, complemented by various professional training in startup acceleration and technology risk management.
