Lenny Firmin has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Lenny started their career as a Sales Assistant at THE MILLBROOK GARDEN COMPANY LTD., where they provided customer service, handled stock replenishment, and operated the till system.
In 2008, Lenny joined IDE Group as a Junior Field Engineer, where they traveled to customer sites within the M25 area to diagnose and fix hardware issues. Lenny then became an Onsite Engineer at Pearson, providing support to VIP users and attending client meetings to improve service quality.
At IDE Group, Lenny took on various roles, including Incident Management Technician, where they provided 1st and 2nd line support, and Service Desk Team Leader, where they managed a team of 5 members and maintained knowledge base documents. Lenny also served as a Business Enablement Engineer, handling OS deployment, hardware break/fix, Office 365 administration, and Citrix Xenapp support.
In 2016, Lenny joined IT EYE LIMITED as an IT Analyst, remotely supporting customers and proactively responding to alerts using RMM tools. Lenny then joined Ascential in 2017 as a Service Consultant Mac + Windows, providing enterprise support to over 2000 users, developing a hosted JAMF system, and administering SSO technologies.
Lenny's most recent role is as a Tech Support Specialist at Corporate Visions, starting in November 2020.
Lenny Firmin attended St Georges Church Of England from 2001 to 2008, where they pursued GCSE/AS/A Levels in Information Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Lenny obtained various qualifications over the years. In 2012, they completed a course on Exceptional Customer Service by Hamilton Mercer. This was followed by an ITIL Foundation V3 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2015. Lenny also completed St John Ambulance Fire Marshall training in 2016. Moving forward, they acquired several certifications related to IT and technology. In 2018, they obtained the Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration Basics 10.13 certification from Apple. The following year, Lenny received the JAMF Certified Associate certification from Jamf. 2019 was a significant year for him as they completed the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) program, the G Suite Administrator Fundamentals by Google Cloud, and the JAMF Certified Associate certification from Jamf. In 2020, they acquired the MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, as well as the Addigy Academy Basics certification from Addigy. Lenny also achieved the Linux Essentials Certificate Exam, Version 1.6 from the Linux Professional Institute in the same year. In 2021, they obtained certifications in AI-900 Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals and AZ-900 Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, as well as the SC-900 Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification. The following year, Lenny acquired the MD-100 Windows Client certification from Microsoft. In 2022, they obtained the ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert, the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ certification from CompTIA, and the Foundational Support certification from Zendesk. Most recently, in 2023, Lenny obtained the MS-700 Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate certification from Microsoft.
