Joe Sands is an accomplished investment banking professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate financing, and strategic corporate advisory. Currently serving as Managing Director at Corporate Finance Associates since August 2016, Sands also holds the position of Strategic Partner at Legacy Partners, LLC, since May 2019, focusing on exit planning for privately held businesses. Prior to these roles, Sands was a Founding Partner at The Spectrum Capital Group, LLC, from January 1996 to December 2015, where significant transactions and strategic advisory engagements were completed. Sands also co-headed the Special Situations Group at Morgan Keegan & Company from June 2009 to June 2012, specializing in distressed capital raises and financial restructurings. Joe Sands holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Accounting from George Washington University School of Business.
