Madeline A. Van Aken is currently serving as a Compliance Manager at Cornerstone Government Affairs since December 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Legislative & Reporting Coordinator and Election Law Special Assistant at Wiley Rein LLP from June 2019 to November 2024. Madeline also worked as a Student Worker at the University of Lynchburg's Career and Professionalism Center from September 2017 to May 2019 and as a Legal Intern at The Law Office of David M. Smith, PLLC in the summer of 2017. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Cornell University (2024-2026), a Graduate Certificate in Health Policy from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a Political Science minor from the University of Lynchburg (2015-2019), and an advanced diploma from Blacksburg High School (2011-2015).
