Nicholas Lundgren currently serves as General Counsel for New Destiny Housing Corporation, where responsibilities include managing legal matters related to supportive housing for domestic violence survivors. In addition, Nicholas is a Lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Cornell University. Previous experience includes roles as Special Counsel and General Counsel at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, and Deputy Commissioner at the State of Connecticut Department of Housing. Nicholas has also held positions such as Director of Housing and Community Development at the Department of Economic and Community Development, and Senior Counsel at the New York City Economic Development Corporation. Early in Nicholas's career, work as an Associate at Robinson & Cole LLP and HellerEhrman LLP involved representing clients in real estate transactions. Nicholas began in legal practice as a Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society, co-launching a new practice group for small businesses and non-profits in Upper Manhattan. Educational credentials include a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in English from Stanford University.
