Melanie Neumann is the founder and attorney at law of Neumann Advisory Services, LLC, since April 2022, and currently serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cornell University, advising startup companies and students through the Center for Regional Economic Advancement. With extensive experience in food law and regulatory compliance, Melanie has held key positions such as EVP and General Counsel at Matrix Sciences and founder of Neumann Risk Services, specializing in food safety risk management and crisis management. Additionally, Melanie has served as an adjunct professor of Food Safety Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and has had leadership roles at various consulting firms, including The Acheson Group and Leavitt Partners. Melanie holds a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Master of Science in Food Safety from Michigan State University.
