Matthew Biben is a Partner and Global Co-Head of Financial Services at King & Spalding, bringing extensive experience as a seasoned counsel in various legal environments. They served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase and the Bank of New York Mellon for a decade and spent over twelve years as a federal and state prosecutor. Currently, Matthew is a member of the Board of Advisors at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and holds a position as an Adjunct Professor of Law. They also serve on several boards, including the New York Lawyers for the Public Interest and the American Arbitration Association. Matthew received a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
