Brendan Lawlor is a seasoned software architect with extensive experience in developing and implementing processes to enhance software quality and productivity. Currently serving as a Software Architect at 8 West Consulting since January 2017 and as an Adjunct Research Fellow at Munster Technological University since September 2022, Brendan has previously held roles as a Process Architect at Decare Systems Ireland, a Consultant at Informatica, and CTO at Spokesoft Business Components, among others. Brendan's technical expertise includes J2EE and Agile development, as well as C++ development across various multinational companies in the telecom industry. Educated with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and a Master's in Computing from Munster Technological University, along with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from University College Cork, Brendan combines strong academic credentials with a comprehensive professional background.
