Matthew Bown has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Matthew started their career as a Java Software Developer at Abertay University in 2013, where they worked on developing a software solution for automating the processing of images of cancer tumor samples. Matthew then moved on to work as a Software Development Intern at JPMorgan Chase in 2014. In 2015, Matthew joined Avaloq as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2016. Currently, they are working at Corero Network Security as a Software Engineer.

Matthew Bown attended the University of Glasgow from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Software Engineering.
