Lawrence Lehrfeld, MBA, CPA, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Controller for GAAP and Financial Reporting at Corebridge Financial since 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing the Residential Mortgage Loan portfolio and financial statement preparation in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Prior to this role, Lehrfeld held senior positions at Customers Bank as SVP, Assistant Controller of Accounting Policy and SEC Reporting, and at Capital One as Director of Accounting, focusing on integration planning and process improvements. Earlier experience includes leading loan accounting operations at ING DIRECT, serving as Vice President at MBNA with managerial roles in finance and accounting, and working as Senior Manager at BDO Seidman, LLP, and Senior at Ernst & Young, LLP. Lehrfeld earned an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Clarkson University and a BS in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta.
