Sofia Pinto currently serves as a QA Specialist at Corden Pharma, starting in April 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Laboratory Technician at UCB from January 2022 to April 2023, where responsibilities encompassed environmental sampling, microbiological analyses, and laboratory investigations within a GMP environment. Additionally, Sofia prepared COVID-19 vaccines at CHUV from April to December 2021, managing vaccine receipt and injectable solution preparation. A graduate research fellow at ICVS from 2019 to December 2020, Sofia contributed to a project on chromene-based compounds for triple-negative breast cancer treatment under the supervision of notable academics. Educational accomplishments include an MSc in Applied Biochemistry with a specialization in Biomedicine and a BSc in Applied Biology, both from Universidade do Minho.
