Lee Newton serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Corden Pharma since June 2020, overseeing a full-service CDMO specializing in the production of APIs, drug products, and packaging services. Prior to this role, Lee held several significant positions at Lonza, including Senior Vice President and Business Unit Head for API Development & Manufacturing, where leadership extended to P&L responsibilities. Lee's experience also includes a decade at CARBOGEN AMCIS in roles such as Director of Technical Operations, contributing to substantial growth and the establishment of new strategic business units. Career beginnings include positions at NPIL Pharmaceuticals, Avecia, and GlaxoSmithKline, complemented by a PhD in Organic Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University.
