Elisa Gillio has a strong background in data management and IT systems. During this internship, they worked on the electropolishing reprocess of the Perceval-S sutureless aortic valve, achieving significant improvements in efficiency and cost savings. Elisa conducted laboratory tests to assess conductivity, weight loss variation, and dimensional variance of the stents.
Elisa began their career with a student internship at Intrauma S.r.l., where they analyzed hip fractures and focused on the Medoff Sliding Plate method of treatment.

Elisa Gillio completed their education in a chronological order. From 2012 to 2015, they obtained their Master's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the same institution.
