John Mark Yeats serves as President at Corban University since March 2023, having previously held the position of President Elect. With an extensive background in academia and church leadership, John Mark Yeats has been involved in various roles since January 2004, including author, speaker, transitional pastor, and church consultant. Prior to Corban University, John Mark Yeats was the Vice President of Student Services and Dean of Students at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from November 2013 to March 2023, also serving as a professor of Church History. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of Church History at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from July 2004 to December 2013 and Senior Pastor at Normandale Baptist Church from July 2010 to November 2013. John Mark Yeats holds a PhD in History from Trinity International University and multiple degrees in religious studies, including a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in Biblical Studies from Criswell College.
