Nick Heiser

Director Of Supply Chain at Copper Cane Wines and Provisions

Nick Heiser, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, they served as the Director of Supply Chain at Copper Cane Wines & Provisions starting in 2021. In their previous role as the Director of Supply Chain, Operations, and Engineering at La Tourangelle (2017-2020), they successfully managed all aspects of the operation, including procurement, logistics, inside sales, fulfillment, maintenance, and production for two facilities and 100 employees. During their tenure, they implemented and maintained key performance indicators (KPIs) that resulted in an 8% increase in margin and an 18% increase in revenue for the $50MM business. Nick also expanded the facility's capacities for emerging product lines by installing three new lines and an additional oil press.

Before E. & J. Gallo Winery, Nick worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev from 2011 to 2015. Nick started as an Engineer I, acting as an internal consultant and part of the development team for creating the company lean program. Nick monitored and helped breweries achieve key performance indicators for performance, process loss, and raw material usage. Nick also led the North American packaging flexibility initiative and managed a $1.2MM capital expense budget for operational improvement projects. Later, they took on the role of Reliability Manager, leading a team and implementing self-directed training initiatives for a 3.5MM barrel/year brewery.

Nick's earlier work experience includes roles such as Structural Frame Engineer at Weyerhaeuser (2007-2011) and Design Engineer at Harris & Sloan Consulting (2006-2007).

Nick Heiser, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of California, Davis, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed from 2003 to 2006.
