Hermann Atencio P. has over 25 years of diverse leadership experience across various industries, currently serving as Director of In-Flight Services - Quality Management Systems, Standards & Training at Copa Airlines since January 2016. This role includes overseeing standards and service models for in-flight operations across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring quality and safety for a fleet of 100 airplanes. Prior to this, Hermann held positions such as General Manager at Metales Panamericanos S.A. and Director of Sustainable Projects & HSE at AES Panama, contributing significantly to the construction and energy sectors. Hermann’s foundational experience includes roles at Shell Oil Company, where responsibilities ranged from operational excellence to supply and distribution management. Educational qualifications include an MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship and strategic management from the University of Louisville, an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá, and further studies in human resources and higher education.
