Azer Guliyev, PMP® MIET, is an accomplished civil engineering professional with extensive experience in venue design, infrastructure projects, and technical services management within major international sporting events. Currently serving as the Director of the Department of Venue Design & Infrastructure at COP29 Azerbaijan, Azer Guliyev previously held senior roles at organizations such as Jacobs, FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and Expo 2020 Dubai. Guliyev possesses a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Engineering from Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction.
