Alexandra Harkness Normington is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Associate Chief Communications & Marketing Officer at Cook County Health since April 2021. Prior roles include Director of Communications at Juniper Advisory and Director of Media at Cook County Health and Hospitals System. With a background in public affairs as Public Affairs Manager at the Metropolitan Chicago Healthcare Council and prior experience in roles such as Public Information Officer for the State of Minnesota, Alexandra has developed a robust skill set in media and communications. Alexandra holds a Master of Public Health in Public Health Policy and Management from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, New Media from the University of Minnesota.
