Bartho van Otterdyk has worked in various finance roles since 2000. Bartho began their career as the Vice President of International Finance at TradeBeam (formerly Qiva, Inc.) in 2000. In 2004, they moved to Maxis Communications Berhad as the Financial Controller and Senior General Manager. In 2007, they joined Tatum LLC as their CFO and Executive Services Partner. Bartho then moved to Experis Finance (formerly Jefferson Wells International) as the Director of Finance Operations in 2009. From 2011 to 2013, they were the Manager of Americas for the BCS Data Transformation Project at BHP. Bartho then joined The Global Edge Consultants as their Chief Financial Officer (Interim) in 2013. In 2015, they moved to Conversio Health as their Chief Financial Officer (Interim). In 2017, they moved to The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University as their Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (Interim). Finally, in 2019, they returned to Conversio Health as their Vice President of Finance.
Bartho van Otterdyk obtained their Higher School Certificate (HSC) from Eltham College. Bartho then attended RMIT University from 1981 to 1984, graduating with a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy. In 1985 and 1986, they completed the CPA Australia Program and obtained their CPA [Certified Practising Accountant] certification. In 2004, they obtained their C.A. [Chartered Accountant] certification from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
