Jincheng Lou's work experience includes roles at Convergent Science and Colorado School of Mines. At Convergent Science, they worked as a Research Engineer from June 2021 to May 2022, and currently hold the position of Senior Research Engineer starting from May 2022. Prior to that, at Colorado School of Mines, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher from September 2020 to May 2021. They also held the positions of Research Assistant from June 2015 to August 2020, and Teaching Assistant from January 2015 to May 2015 and August 2018 to December 2018.

Jincheng Lou completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Modern Mechanics at the University of Science and Technology of China from 2010 to 2014. Jincheng then pursued their higher education at the Colorado School of Mines, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2014 to 2020.
