Islandy Chann began their work experience in 2012 as a Teller 1 at Align Credit Union. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an IAB Operator at Teleflex Medical INC. In 2018, they interned as a Finance Intern at Providence Equity Partners before becoming a Finance Database Administrator Intern from February to July 2019. From September 2019 to March 2021, they held the role of Cash Applications Rep I at UNFI. Currently, Islandy is working as a Staff Accountant at Converge Technology Solutions Corp.

Islandy Chann's education history begins in 2015 when they attended Middlesex Community College for Business Administration and Management, General. They continued their education in 2018 at Year Up RI, where they obtained a certificate in Business Operations Support and Assistant Services. In 2019, they enrolled in the Community College of Rhode Island and earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 2020.

In 2023, Islandy Chann enrolled at Johnson & Wales University, majoring in Accounting. Their education at Johnson & Wales University is ongoing and is expected to end in 2025.

In terms of additional certifications, Islandy Chann obtained the HDI Support Center Analyst certification from the Help Desk Institute in June 2018. They also obtained various business and computer-related certifications from Year Up in September 2020. These certifications include BUS 101: Business Writing I, BUS 102: Business Writing II, BUS 103: Career Development and Interpersonal Relations, BUS 201: Introduction to Customer Service, BUS 202: Project Management I, BUS 203: Advanced Customer Service Skills, CIS 101: Introduction to Computer Applications, CIS 102: Advanced Excel, COM 150: Public Speaking, INT 101: Internship Practicum, and INT 102: Internship Seminar.
