Dan Callaway is an experienced operations professional with a strong background in coal mining and heavy equipment operation. Currently serving as Operations Superintendent at Conuma Resources since January 2020, Dan previously held the role of General Foreman at Conuma Coal Resources from September 2016 to October 2019, focusing on safe and efficient operations during the Brule Mine restart. Prior to that, Dan worked at Walter Energy from March 2010 to August 2016 as Operations Supervisor and Heavy Equipment Operator, managing daily operations and collaborating with multiple departments to meet coal production goals. Additional experience includes positions as Operations Supervisor at Tumbler Ridge Sand & Gravel and Foremost Equipment Services. Dan holds a Shift Boss - Open Pit certification from the British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines and attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
