Sébastien Boisvert has worked in various roles in the software development and bioinformatics fields since 2007. In 2007, they were an Intern in Machine Learning at Université Laval - Département d'Informatique et de Génie Logiciel. In 2008, they were a Summer Intern in sequencing bioinformatics at McGill University and Génome Québec Innovation Center. In 2011, they were a Summer Intern in Genome Technologies at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. From 2012-2015, they worked as a High-Performance Computing Specialist at Calcul Québec.
